The Lisan al-Gaib is probably not going to be someone who attended Scary Island, but, then again, who would’ve thought it would be a guy named “Paul”? Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel is currently documenting her first Burning Man trip on TikTok, and it looks like a whirlwind of a vacation. Literally. Yesterday, she posted multiple videos of herself wearing these insane goggles while standing in the middle of a “whiteout” sandstorm. During one video, in which she is wearing an all-cream outfit while sand blows around her, she notes, “This is the lifestyles of the rich and moronic. Stupid.” Then, while standing on the top of her trailer, wind blowing in her face, she sarcastically shouts, “This is my Yelp review: five stars!”
Frankel’s Burning Man stopover is turning into daily entertainment. She started the week with a video describing what she thinks of attending such a hippie-dippie event for the first time. “This trip is costing me as much as it would take six people on a high-end, first-class safari, and I’m not even fucking stuttering,” she said in a video. But, she explained, she’d already committed, so she’s all in. The biggest controversy among her following has been that she packed nearly all white outfits, despite the fact that it’s a sand-based environment — she says she did that because she wants to see where the mess is. Sure! In a world where RHONY is returning with Frankel’s archnemesis Carole Radziwill in the cast, this is the perfect Frankel counterprogramming. Maybe next, she and Nicole Kidman can star in Dune: Part IV and ride sandworms together.
