– Arsenal are set to sign teenage Georgian midfielder Andria Bartishvili, according to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano. The 17-year-old has already made 44 senior appearances across the Georgian first tier and second tier and had been touted with a move following a breakout year. Arsenal have seemingly moved quickest, with Romano claiming that a medical has been completed, with a contract set to be signed soon. Bartishvili, who has featured for his nation’s under-21s already, will join up with the Gunners next summer when he turns 18 years old.
– Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping an eye on Wolves striker Mateus Mane, reports TEAMtalk. The clubs are reportedly see the 18-year-old as a potential signing in the future, a year after he showcased his talent in the Premier League despite his side’s relegation. The Portugal U21 international has other potential suitors, including Porto, Sporting CP and Benfica.
– Arsenal are working on several new contracts for players, according to TEAMtalk, as the club looks to secure the future of some of its key stars. It’s claimed that progress has been made on extensions for club captain Martin Ødegaard, as well as fellow midfielder Declan Rice and defender Jurriën Timber. The trio have been central to Arsenal’s success in recent years, which culminated in last season’s Premier League title triumph. All three of Odegaard, Rice, and Timber have two years remaining on their contracts, with talks advancing towards extensions.
– Amadou Onana has agreed a new contract with Aston Villa, with the midfielder set to commit his future to the Premier League outfit. The 25-year-old’s current contract runs until 2029, but transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports an agreement has been signed until 2031 that will keep him at the club for longer. Onana is set to miss a large chunk of the campaign through an ACL injury, but he has proven to be an important part of the Aston Villa side since his move from Everton, making 72 appearances for the team and helping them on the way to the Europa League trophy last season.
– Bayern Munich could add a release clause to winger Michael Olise‘s contract if the star agrees to an extension with the club. That’s according to German reporter Christian Falk, who claims that it is an option that may be considered, with the winger entering the final three years of his contract. It’s stated that while there is no rush to extend his deal, talks are expected over the next 12 months before he enters the final two years. Any release clause has been described as “very, very high,” while Liverpool and Real Madrid have been mentioned as possible suitors, due to previous interest.
